The idea of eating fresh sprouts was born in the Far East, from where it came to Europe. In Poland, sprouts appeared relatively recently, but thanks to their invaluable properties, they are becoming more and more popular and liked. Sprouts are rich in the most valuable ingredients for health, vitamins A, B, C, H. They contain large amounts of calcium, iron, sulfur, magnesium, potassium and biotin, zinc, selenium as well as microelements, including min. Lithium and chromium. They contain huge amounts of compounds easily absorbed by the body. It is very important that we do not use any chemicals that improve their quality and accelerate their growth for their production.
We can treat eating sprouts as a valuable supplement to the daily diet, which gives protection against such civilization diseases as heart attacks or cancer. To notice the positive effects of sprouts on the body, they should be eaten regularly, preferably raw, because they do not lose their valuable nutrients. We can use them as an addition to salads, cottage cheese, fish pastes, sauces, dips, sandwiches, eye-catching decorations of dishes and also for snacking during the day, e.g. instead of chips, because they are low in calories.
